This privacy policy covers the internal operations dashboard and its QuickBooks Online integration (the “Application”) operated by HOLA Recuperative Care (“we,” “us”). The Application is an internal business tool used solely by authorized HOLA Recuperative Care staff; it is not offered to the general public.
Information the Application handles
The Application processes information needed to run our recuperative care operations, including care coordination records, billing and claims records, and accounting data maintained in QuickBooks Online (such as invoices, customers, and payment records). Access is restricted to authenticated staff through Google Cloud Identity-Aware Proxy.
QuickBooks Online data
When an authorized administrator connects the Application to QuickBooks Online, the Application accesses our own company’s QuickBooks data through Intuit’s API for the sole purpose of synchronizing billing and accounting records. OAuth credentials are stored encrypted in Google Cloud Secret Manager. The Application does not access QuickBooks data belonging to any other person or company.
How information is used
Information is used only for internal operations: care coordination, billing, claims reconciliation, accounting, and service quality review. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except service providers that host and process data on our behalf (Google Cloud, Intuit) or where required by law.
Health information
Where the Application handles protected health information, it is handled in accordance with applicable law, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and our internal privacy and security practices.
Security and retention
Data is stored on Google Cloud Platform with encryption at rest and in transit, and access is limited to authorized staff. Records are retained only as long as needed for operational, legal, and regulatory purposes.
